Traditional Taster

The course feel includes the following:
  • Tuition
  • Provision of a chair or stool with a drop-in seat pad to reupholster and retain at the end of the taster day.
  • Use of workshop facilities, including tools, traditional upholstery materials and person protection equipment
  • Introduction to stripping and removal of upholstery
  • Introduction to traditional methods and techniques which are applied with practical exercises
  • A hand-out covering the course content
  • A selection of fabrics and trimmings are available for use
  • Refreshments are provided.
  • An information leaflet is available upon request
