NEW WORKSHOP FACILITY NOW OPEN
We are delighted to announce that we have just recently opened our new larger upholstery workshop. During the past year when COVID restrictions had forced us to close we took advantage of the time we had available to completely refurbish our old barn. The new workshop boasts extra workspace for students, temperature controlled environment, excellent lighting, sewing area with new cutting table, a kitchenette area with microwave and refrigerator, wi-fi connection and ample parking alongside with easy access to the workshop.
Apart from my passion for teaching upholstery, I also like to work on my own traditional 'pet' projects. One of these is a small shell-back chair which I purchased over a year ago. This particular chair has a wooden frame and although generally in good condition required a some work to strengthen lose joints before starting. More photographs of progress to follow . . .
